Pink mobile phones have a lot of advantages, even if your favorite color is not pink. Most electronic items are launched in straight black, for example. Upon becoming more and more popular the manufacturers respond by branching out into different colors. If you can get hold of a pink version of the cell phone you want, you will almost certainly be able to replace it more easily should it break.
Pink is a really bright color. This sure comes in handy when you happen to misplace your phone. The popularity of the color is unquestioned amongst the younger fairer set, but pink is not often used for household items such as furniture or floor coverings.
The color pink is very much linked with a less mature crowd. It is almost certain that a cell phone that comes in that particular color would be manufactured to cope with many more everyday knocks. In my view this is due to the fact that young folk below the age of twenty have a habit of being more careless.
The color pink is in fact a lighter shade of the color red. Red is the color that is most often used to warn; for example at stop sign and / or traffic lights. By owning a pink mobile you may well be able to reduce the amount of time you use your phone. While this might help if you are close to running out of minutes, it can also prevent you from making calls that may seem trivial but are actually important. For example, if you are almost positive that you’re having dinner with someone at a certain time but not completely sure, you might keep from calling because the color of your cell phone seems too threatening. White is a color mixed with red to create pink, so it may well appear to be a safer option of call and acutally determine whether a different restaurant was being considered for supper after all.
It is my view that a pink cell phone is a fashion statement although I am by no means a fashion expert. Of course, there will be some women who take this too far and for every shade of lipstick they have they have a different colored cell phone. It is my firmly held view that ladies such as these really ought to find something far more useful or productive to spend their time on.
There’s a famous poem by Gelett Burgess that starts out, “I never saw a purple cow, I never hope to see one”.Prior to researching the subject matter for this article, for me pink mobile phones would have been in the “purple cow” category. As a consequence, having seen how useful a pink mobile phone is able to be I intend to take lift them from my “purple cow” list. I actually hope I get the opportunity to see one one day. I like best however the line of Burgess’ poem upon which it finishes: “I’d rather see than be one.”
